I am a recent changes patroller and have been reverting vandalism for over five months. I would like to have the rollback privilege in order to do this more efficiently. Regarding my block log, I was blocked in June for edit-warring with IP on multiple articles, including Unforgettable (French Montana song), Zapotec civilization and Let Me Go (Hailee Steinfeld and Alesso song). Since then I have familiarised myself with Wikipedia:Edit warring, and now know that I should examine the diffs (even if the edits were made by a user/IP who was blocked) instead of reverting blindly. I am interested in using this roll back tool when I am assisting new Wikipedians learn how to contribute to medical articles. This would be through my teaching role and also through my volunteer role on WikiProject Medicine. I believe that this tool would save me time, rather than manually removing numerous edits that need to be brought to the talk page first to find high quality references before being added to the articles. Thank you for considering this request. JenOttawa (talk) 17:03, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

I have been a consistent editor for a while, and have familiarised myself with guidelines relevant to the rollback priveledge, such as WP:VAN, WP:V, and WP:RS. I would personally find it useful to have the ability to revert a number of edits at once rather than one-by-one, as most vandalism or poor quality edits made in good faith I come across are often in numbers rather than a single edit. The guidelines for the rollback privilege also mention how it can be applied in the userspace, and that would also prove useful to me as well. – PhilipTerryGraham (talk · articles · reviews) 01:58, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
